On Geert Wilders’ Fitna

I just watched Fitna. What I can shortly say for now is that Nine/Eleven, London’s tube, and  etc were done by Wahabbi extremists which are not effectively Muslims by any possible way. If any one goes and reads about the history of them and the foundation of their idealogy, they’ll realise that it’s actually a product of West, especially the UK. All with a plan for such days, and us watching this type of films. By no means this is not Islam.
All religions have this sort of disordered groups in them, that includes Christianity and Judaism. I won’t call a Zionist thug like Saddam a Muslim, same for Bin-Laden as I won’t call Sharon a Jew, or Bush a Christian.
Islam or in general, religions, and being religious is not what you say, it is what you do and how you live in the real life.

This Dutch guy has the perfect right to express himself the way he feels in his movie without receiving life threats from people identifiying themselves as muslims.

The near 200 people brutally killed in Madrid March 11,2004 were killed by guys idenintifying themselves as muslims. They didnt identify themselves as whahabies (whatever that is?). They were not a product of the west, but a product of poor education from their parents that fed them 24 hour dosis of Quran. So don’t blame the west.

Here is a real life example that happened to me . I was in FEZ Morocco. See clip:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9×3e6CYoVw

To go to the airport I took the normal local bus. It was a long trip and this young boy, probably 9 years old starts talking to me. Very polite. We couldn’t understand each other since I dont speak arabic nor French and he couldnt speak Spanish. But we were using hand signs and whatever. Anyway, I managed to get through to him that on that night Spain was playing soccer against Denmark. The boy responds something like: “Oh.. denmark really bad….because Mohammad….” something to that tune. We are talking about a 9 year old boy who was, if I’m not wrong, going to work at age 9. Obviously a 9 year old boy has no perspective of life. Is Denmark really bad? Really? Do 9 year olds work in Denmark? Is Denmark bad for allowing free speach? Is it worst than Syria or Iran where they would hang you off a crain if you dared to speak?

I guess everybody knows what really Islam is about.
Wahabism is the real Islam. They know Arabic and understand Qoran very well.

However since some people consider 9/11 a job done by America or Israel it’s very natural they think wahhabism is from the west.

AYENEH CHON NAQSHE TO BENMOOD RAST
    KHOD SHEKAN AYENEH SHEKASTAN KHATAST

Islam is what it is. You can’t change it or create your version of it.

    “hate speech”??

exactly who’s “hate speech” are we hearing in that film??

they are the words of Muhammed & those who believe in them, echo them, and who are suing to silence them..

oh yes, i agree, it is “hate speech” alright..

“hate speech” that belongs to them alone..

Ehsan Jami, founder of the Committee for Ex-Muslims, has been been forced into hiding after a series of death threats and a recent attack.
Jami was moved to a safe house in the Netherlands after being attacked for a third time because of his anti-Muslim views on August 4, 2007… The attacks took place after Jami referred to the Muslim prophet Mohammed as a “horrible man” in several interviews and said he wanted to start a debate about domestic violence and human rights in Islam- EUX.TV.

Iranian-born Ehsan Jami has been working on a very controversial cartoon film that will show a sexually aroused Mohammad and his 9 year-old bride.

Sugiero has a roundup on this project that is apparently even more controversial than the dreaded Muhammad cartoons.

The next controversial cartoon film on the slate will show Mohammad having sex with his nine-year-old wife Aisha.
That ought to go over really well in Pakistan and Iran.
    Radio Netherlands reported:

Former Dutch Labour Party politician Ehsan Jami, the founder of the Committee of ex-Muslims, has announced that he is producing an anti-Islamic cartoon called The Life of Muhammad. It will be released on the 20th of April. The film will show a sexually aroused Prophet Muhammad with his nine-year-old wife Aisha.

Members of the Dutch Muslim and government contact organisation, CMO, who have viewed a section of the film, say they will go to court in an attempt to have The Life of Muhammad banned. The organisation has described the film as totally unacceptable and extremely offensive.
Netwerk TV has video of the latest Mohammad cartoon project (in Dutch).

It shows that Quran preaches hate. What arrogance?

If you saw the film, you may have noticed that several imams from every sect of islam were talking about how islam will take over the world and they will rule. This is not new to iranians. This idea is preached in every corner of iran. AhmadiNajid included. Islam has taken over Iran, what arrogance are you talking about.

Any decent, moderate muslim shouldn’t get upset by this film. If they do, then they aren’t a decent and moderate person. They must search their souls and tear up half of Quran.

It shows that hate causes crime. It shows that Quran preaches hate.

What goes around comes around and now islamists are getting a dose of their own medicine.

Islam is so horrible cult that has exploded into hundreds of sub cults.

I am surprised by the sentiments of some of our countrymen who put Islam before Iran. As the VERY FIRST VICTIMS of Islamic Terror - I wish more and more of my countrymen get the courage to step-out of their fears and tell it like it is. Tell the world how most of Iranians are just FAKING this backward religion which was forced upon us yet we never truely endorsed. I wish we generate enough courage to tell the world how hardly anyone in Iran actualy PRAYS five times a day as every MOSLEMS must do. I wish we could one day make a movie about how ISlam was spread through Iran. The movie contains a “Beheading” of an innocent civilian - I wish we could expose beheading of 60,000 of our forefathers in Kerman alone, after the Arabs took it over.

This war against terror is real - and we must all pick sides - the sooner the better. This war is not one when staying “Idle” is no longer an option.

Other than the effort to yet again remind of us of 9/11, the rest of the content of this 15 minute documentary is spot on.

Islam was a necessary religion. A strong idealogy or school of thought was needed to transform Arabs of 1400 years ago to humans. Islam achieved that purpose.

But unlike what most so called devout Muslims proclaim, Islam is not a religion of tolerance; additionally, Islamic cultures are also cultures of intolerance. Just look at the posts here on Iranian.com.

If someone writes something slightly in odds with someone else’s beliefs, baseless personal attacks start in matter of nano seconds.

Another way of looking at this intolerance is how non Muslims are treated in Islamic countries. For example, there are no Christian churches in Saudi Arabia. There are only 5 churches in Eqypt.

But, there are numerous Mosques in U.S. and the U.K. Do you think there are any Synagogs in Islamic countries? Any Bahai temples in Saudi Arabia or any Islamic nation for that matter?

The answer is no. Because idealogies other than Islam are not tolerated.

There is no question Western powers had screwed the nations in the Middle East for decades. But just think of the reasons they were so successful. Because we, so called Muslims, allowed them. Why? Because we are corrupt. What has corrupted us to this level? Islam if you aske me.

    Islam in trouble

I think the film shows Islam for what it is, Islamic hate, and violence goes back to the founders. but this film is not a good representation of Muslims today.

Look around you, your brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers. Most of the people you know who call themselves Muslims are peaceful, hard working people living amongst us. They don’t teach their four year old kids to hate Jews, this is rare, and seen amongst extremists and IRI supporters. Muslims can not control those who have taken Islam in danger zone, the best path is to know the truth i.e. that the root of Islam is corrupt and leave this so called faith.

I am outraged by Islamic crimes against humanity, my own cartoons represent this:-

    ok

so now we know that all this is said in Qur’an: thank you Mr Wilder!

but what does this movie achieve? why was it made? why make such a fuss about its release?

    - to get some crazy people all worked up and angry?

    - to disappoint some others who try to believe that Islam has a positive side and make them join the other group?

    - to get you some award like oscar for short documentary?

    - a pat on the back for showing that Netherland is not going to join the anti-jew anymore as opposed to the Hitler era?

Unless there is a positive outcome, which I fail to see, this piece of documentary is just pouring salt on people’s wound from both sides. It creates hate and animosity.

Why were these information available when US was training and arming the Talibans?

I don’t see anything constructive coming out of this.

I think Death of the filmmaker Theo Van Gogh by the Islamists in Holland has a lot do with this. The Dutch feel that they can no longer live in fear of being killed by muslims as soon as they criticize the religion. Holland has a huge muslim population.

I can’t blame the Dutch for not wanting to giving in to terror and intimidation.

He was a descendant of Theo van Gogh, the brother of painter Vincent van Gogh. He was murdered by Mohammed Bouyeri in 2004.

Many in Europe feel that their culture is under assault from their muslim population. We will see more reaction like these as the muslims get more violent.

Whoever wants to see an end to hatred and intolerance should above all overcome his own ignorance!

Everybody has a right to their own opinion but definitely not to his own facts.

I doubt that Wilder has read the Quran, and even if he did can understand it, since most Muslims have neither read it nor understand it themselves.

With a mixture of self-righteousness, ignorance and hatred, many people attack Islam and Muslims in the most dehumanizing way; while if the same was done to Christianity and Judaism, I hardly think it would be tolerated!

Let’s see how in this supposed “civilized” West, which has committed the most heinous crimes against the Muslim world, there exists such tolerance if one was to create a film questioning the Holocaust, let alone depicting Jesus Christ, Abraham and Moses and their holy books in the same fashion.

I dare not one single person can create such films and if they did they would surely be crucified for good!

The main reason the West can get away with such a film, is because the foundation of Europeans and Americans are based on racism! We don’t have to go too far to see this; what topic has dominated Barack Obama’s campaign over the past month? “RACE”! .

The man has been blasted because his middle name is Hussein, and because his pastor spoke about the atrocities committed against the Afro-Americans by white Americans, and those committed against the Palestinians by Israel. The reverend had to retire from preaching !!

Western policies toward the Muslim world suffer from a shocking ignorance of even the basic facts.

Before attacking Islam, maybe one should ask:

Has Wilders read the Bible? Here are some excerpts:

The Bible: God, War, Violence, Fornication
‘The Christian God is a being of terrific character - cruel, vindictive, capricious, and unjust’ — Thomas Jefferson (Third President of the United States, 1801-1809)
    Genesis

[19:8] Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
[19:31] And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
[19:32] Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
[19:33] And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
[19:34] And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our Father.
[19:35] And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
[19:36] Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.

    [34:15] Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods , and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
[34:16] And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
[34:17] Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

    Leviticus

[20:9] For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
[20:10] And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
[20:11] And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
[20:12] And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
[20:13] If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
[20:14] And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
[20:15] And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
[20:16] And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

    Numbers

[15:32] And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
[15:33] And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
[15:34] And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
[15:35] And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
[15:36] And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

    Deuteronomy

[2:34] And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain.
[3:6] And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.
[7:2] And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them.

    Joshua

[6:21] And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.

    Judges

[19:23] And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.
[19:24] Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.
[19:25] But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.
[19:26] Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man’s house where her lord was, till it was
    light.
[19:29] And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and
sent her into all the coasts of Israel.

Rumi and khayyam by definition of core Islam were not Muslims, although many things are put in the credit list of Islam. In actual fact they are part of resistance or bypassing of core Islam.

khayyam was a materialist, his poetry is his testimony to living for here and now and not expecting 70Meter heavenly call girls to service you in the after life.

Rumi, stopped being a Muslim when he met Shams in the same way that a follower finds a Guru and followed the 7 steps of enlightenment.

Their path athough apear to be part of core Islam, is in reality a different path.

Any other path would have been seen as heresy, so they paid lip service to the prophet. There were those who did not but their work has been destroyed.

SOLUTION; silent majority, peace loving, Muslims must not be silent any longer, they have to protest and demonstrate against violence while citizen of host countries are seriously threatent, similar to what we saw in the film anywhere in the world. Why host countries should tolerate all these nonsenses in their home land? Would any Muslim country accept ANY demonstration from let’s say Christian or other religions in their home-land for any reason?.
I have to say, that European and others accepting immigrants/refugees are very tolerant and generous accepting us as their citizens and in return we betraying them by acting as shown in these clippings.
I immigrated to this country, by accepting to abide to their rules and standard of living, otherwise I should have stayed where I belonged.

I totally understand his fear of islamization!

    Islam debate round 2

After weeks of suspension and rising expectations about the so-called anti-Quran movie of Geert Wilders, it surely was a turndown to see the actual content. The talk and criticism about the movie, before it being public, all the international public attention and erupting emotions was more interesting to follow than Fitna itself. The movie is nothing more than an accumulation of existing news fragments of Islam fundamentalism and its effects on society. The movie is so fact driven that Islam fundamentalists could even use it for their own promotional campaign!

Of course people in the East who haven’t seen it are horrified by the thought alone of someone with anti-Islam sentiments who made a movie about the fascist sides of their holy book, but those people would be insulted by any old gossip. There isn’t much needed to insult them. Who cares? So we perhaps might have to eat a couple of dates less than last year!

For the Muslims living in The Netherlands it actually should be a relief that Fitna is what it is, a documentary with comments and a message of alert. The only link that we should let go is considering Islam and Muslims all as an entity of practicing fundamentalists. Exclusion and isolation always leads to extremism, so let’s not feed it even more. The average Muslim in The Netherlands wants a good education, a good job and enough money to live a decent life. The communal role of Muslims shouldn’t be considered a danger to a democratic society, as long as there is prosperity and equal chances people don’t feel the need to group up and isolate themselves.

Geert Wilders commented that he wants to start debates about the Islam. I absolutely agree and hope that it won’t lead to more division, but instead towards tolerance and mutual understanding. The bottom line is that people like Geert Wilders are afraid of islamization of society and I absolutely understand that fear. I don’t want the growing number of Muslims in Europe to lead to a loss of enlightened and modern values either. That comes with being someone who is born in an Islamic fascist state and who has seen the effects of such a religious and non-secular reign. Never again! Now, let’s see where these new debates will take us.

    Let’s Come to Our Senses!!!

No doubt, civilisations have been created and advanced as a result of positive thinking, attitude and hard work of mankind. About 5-6 centuries ago, while the present Europe was in a darkness, with many social problems surrounding it, a great deal of scientific discoveries were accomplished by Muslims and the Muslims were one of the brightest nations of the world.
Many Europeans used to study in Spain at the Islamic Universities. Advancement of knowledge was one of the core activities of Muslim society. We had capable leadership, good intention and contributed very greatly to the betterment of the humankind global civilisation. But, now Muslims are weak, without a wise and strong leadership. It is a fact that majority of the world people see facts with their eyes, but not with their brain and wisdom. Many of the Westerners, like Wilder, only have two physical eyes on their head and judge things according to what they see.
Indeed, they have a right to call some so-called Muslims terrorists, pagans, uncivilised etc. etc. I agree with them as well. A big, BUT, he should not generalize the whole Muslims or Islam to be so. He should differentiate between bad and good. Bad and good exists among the Dutch people as well. But we should not call all Dutch pagans or bad citizens.

Let’s give an example, over the past two centuries, some of the USA Governments have committed crimes that could be considered a shame for the entire human race, like Nuclear bombardment of Japan, Vietnam War, Afghanistan and Iraq wars etc. Over the past two centuries USA has invaded/engaged 18 times in different wars/fighting in different countires that ensued in the killing of hundreds of thousands of innocent people around the world. Now to be realistic, should we condemn some power mongers or fanatics in the US administration or should we condemn the whole people in the USA or the Christianity as their religion? Just think and imagine how the realities of the world differ and becomes clear when we make judgements without any bias or conditioning.
Every civilisation, like any other social phenomena, has its ups and Downs. Let’s be a little realistic, Europe or Europeans should not be ignorant of the fact that they inherited the vast and accumulated knowledge and experience of other civilisations like those of Chinese, Iranian, Indian, Islam, Russian and Roman, to name a few. The present European advancement/achievement is not only of their own creation, but of the humanity as a whole. Europeans, like Geert Wilder, should not be so arrogant and should study other cultures with a positive mind. However, he can make meaningful criticism of others, but not insulting almost half number of human beings on earth. A good characteristic of a civilised man is to respect others views/beliefs and he should try to promote mutual understanding and dialogue between different cultures, instead of spreading hatred and violence.

Whatever, he claims about Islam is highly debatable. If someone does not have a profound study of a religion/culture, his judgement is not sound.
It could be similar to the example of a judge who does not properly study a case and arrives at a wrong decision. We have a proverb, saying that, a few drops of rain does not stop the caravan moving towards their destinations. Believe me, Geert Wilder’s film is not based on reality, and is not considered to bring any good for Dutch society, but rather it is a reaction of his short-mindedness and poor understanding of religion as a whole and especially of Islam. He has made this film to bring him some economic gains, fame and perhaps some political achievements. As a good saying goes like this:
“Cats do not catch mouse to please God”.

People should differ Islam and Muslim. Muslim can be bad if he doesn’t follow what Islam says toroughly.

One question from me, if there is a same type film which exposes the bad things about Christians and Jews, will the West call that action as the freedom of speech also? I’m afraid it won’t.
