Where does this guy live?!
Posted by Ali Sanaei under Iran, Politics, Sports
Mr. Mostafa Hashemitaba, the former vice president and head of Iran’s Physical Education Organization (Sports), who was also a candidate for presidential election in Iran at 2001 and got the worst result, 0.1%, has recently stated in a TV interview that he’d want IRR20,000,000,000 (approx. $2,200,000) as his salary to become Iran’s Football federation president.
Mr. Hashemitaba is the one having a cup of tea. (Don’t know who’s the one in left!!)

The issue is that this sort of wages for such positions are like a dream. Even if someone becomes a candidate for a football federation, it’s because of the position and future connections.
According to UNICEF’s 2007 report, GNI (Gross National Income) in Iran is US$2,700 (approx. IRR25,000,000). And as a Guess; He’s asking for about 50 times more than the current salary.
I think we should really thank God that he didn’t get any serious positions after the above mentioned one.
