This is West’s product. In Afghanistan we people didn’t even know what is the exact difference between Sunni and Shia until US attacked us. They don’t want us united because they know that this is our main Strength. The same is happening in Iraq :( They do terrorist actions and then say was done by Sunnis or Shias to make them enemies. We don’t need them in our lands.

why do u always blaim others on ur pobs?

Kylie has a point, it is senseless blaming everyone else for your troubles. If you weren’t in such a mess in the first place then the US wouldn’t have such a convenient excuse to attack in the first place. Afghanistan has been fighting civil wars for years.

Blaming the US for divisions in the Islamic world is also inaccurate, there have been a succession wars since Mohammed died. Nothing has changed.

    and ur an expert Mac?!
u ve found da problems and da source!!! really well done!!! wot bout da solution?! any comment Mr expert?!;)

and a question on ur brilliant constructive comment: assuming these countries were in such a mess in da first place, who is US to interfere to solve probs?! and as u mentioned urself da phrase “EXCUSE FOR ATTACK” really explains everything mate ;) America ridicuously EXCUSED bullsh** to ATTACK these lands for its own benefit…

so think about it: EXCUSE + ATTACK…thats wot urself said;)

Hello Alireza Sanaei, that what I said because that is what I meant. The US didn’t invade to fight terrorism, that was merely a pretext, they did so to extend their power in the region (they now have almost a quarter of a million troops in the ME now). Anything else was an excuse to fool the American public. If US politicians mention Terror, Liberty, Freedom and Democracy in a sentence they could pretty much get away with anything, although this is changing, thank god.

A solution, well I’m no expert but I think that the Islamic world could do with a Pope. There was much infighting with the Catholics during the Middle Ages, but the Pope and Catholic Church helped stop that (or at least tried), and even today there is one central figure or group responsible for the Catholic faith. This of course also has it’s downside but there you go.

If there were one person or one body that decided all issues regarding the Muslim faith then extremism could be virtually stamped out; conflict between different aspects of the faith could be avoided and one central body could decide what is and what isn’t against Islam, rather than a bearded man in a cave. Without this Islam gets splintered into different factions with different leaders espousing their version of Islam and justifying the killing of their own.

As I said though, I am no expert, but I appreciate your gracious comment.

well, so u agree that the US didn’t invade iraq/ifqanistan to fight terrorism or anything close to that…and da fact that they were merely hungry for more power in da oil region ;) so far we agree then!!! GOOD…

i also shud admit that i agree wid u bout old conflicts between muslim divisions which had existed even ages b4 the US invaded those lands…still we agree!!! BRILLIANT…

ok…now the US wanna attack da target…wot do they do?! “hey sunnis!!! hey shias!!! we’re attacking u…so u better to get united b4 we do so…this is 4 ur own sake.” hahahha…certainly not mate!!!
wot they do is that they put da finger on da mess and make it even worse;)…then they fight each other and kill each other and then the US says: “there u go…i told ya…didnt i?! we shud have been here earlier to solve da prob…these ppl killing each other!!! too bad too sad!!!”…

so conclusion: i aint sayin that there has never been any probs or conflicts between muslim divisions, particularly when those extrimists exist…BUT wot im sayin is that da US fuled it up for its own devilish goals and benefits and made it times and times worse!!! so i think it aint really far from reallity to blame the US for such a great mess;)

Mac & Alireza, the pope is something that Islam, especially Shia, has already predicted from the very first.
If you review the Islamic world’s two main faiths, Shia and Sunnis, you’ll find them much more united. The reason is Willayat Faghih. This position has much higher power than Pope.
Sunnis don’t have this in their beliefs so … however they have Marja’s which are many and not just one.
But I think they will realise sooner or later than this is significant for them too to have ONE person.
