Persepolis
Posted by Ali Sanaei under Football (Soccer), Iran, Sports
Last night, the Iranian Premier League’s last matches were running all simultaneously. Between all agmes; Persepolis vs Sepahan was the most important one. Persepolis had 56 points (6 points deducted by FIFA because of their debts to an ex-player) standing at the second place and Sepahan was in the first position with 58 points (3 points deducted by IFF). I am a fan of Persepolis, they only had to win to become the champion.
The match was like practically an incredible final, lots of excitement, such a great football, 100,000 inside the stadium and many outside because no more tickets were available… The game was 1-1 till the 90th minute… the referee gave 7 minutes extra time, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, we were thinking it’s all over, but… Persepolis unbelievably scored at the 96th minute and became the champion of Iran’s Persian Gulf cup (IPL), miraculous, but they deserved it, I am sooooo happppyyy…
Congratulations to all the fans of Persepolis FC :-)
