Ahmadinejad’s new album Released: “Provincial Trips …”

Ahmadinejad's New Album

I haven’t set up my blog in Persian yet so I have to post the picture here in my English one. 40% of my site visitors are from Iran and many others from other countries are also Iranians, so I assume at least 50% of visitors understand the writings on the picture. But sorry to those who can’t read Persian.

The picture’s point is that it’s a book’s cover-page about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s provincial visits; but it looks more like a music album cover. Especially with those titles at the right hand, e.g. “Rain’s Ambassador”, “Rain”, “Soft like Breeze”, “Sea Heart”, etc. Interesting that Hugo Chavez officially released his very own album about a month ago!

Awesome feature, converting youtube to video files on your PC !

Posted by Ali Sanaei under Music, Websites

This is something I was personally looking for months!

Zamzar has introduced the ability to convert files from URLs and they’ve included support for all the favourite video sites.

Again, very easy and five fast simple steps:

Step 1- you need to go to Zamzar’s URL website

Step 2- Enter the video’s URL

Step 3- Enter your email address. Just be aware that you’re email host should accept large email attachments.

Step 5- Click on the convert button and it is all done! The video file will be emailed to you in few minutes.

Zamzar currently supports most of the major video sharing websites such as youtube, google video, myspace, putfile, apple, blip.tv, grouper, ifilm, dailymotion, etc.

POP music, highest popularity in Iran

Posted by Ali Sanaei under Iran, Music

Hamshahri Logo

According to a survey conducted by the weekly edition of Hamshahri in Iran (1190 citizens were subjected), POP music has 37% of the population’s votes and the Sonnati (Traditional) music 34%! This is in an era where POP music unlike its tightly close rival enjoys no national media (IRIB) support for releases and concerts. I’m thinking of its reasons …
